Mississippi University for Women’s Hearin Leadership Program will host its ninth annual Hearin High School Leadership Conference on the weekend of Jan. 29, 2010.
The conference is MUW’s largest recruitment event with the purpose of introducing the Hearin Leadership Program to high school seniors from all over the world. This year’s theme is Leadership Thru Time. Read the full story.

The art department at Mississippi University for Women welcomes “Functional Relationships,” a national juried ceramics exhibition,” and “Mississippi Mud,” a statewide invitational exhibit, with opening receptions on Friday, Jan. 15 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. “Functional Relationships,” which will be held at the MUW Art and Design Building, challenged the participating clay artists to create a group of functional objects that have visual and/or utilitarian harmony. The Mississippi Governor’s School (MGS) is accepting applications for the 2010 session from current 10th and 11th grade students enrolled in Mississippi high schools. MGS will be held on the campus of Mississippi University for Women in Columbus June 6-25. The theme for the session is Leading in a Time of Change. Read the full story
